Apple's App Store Now Approves The Launch Of A Decentralized Twitter Alternative
The Apple App Store has given its approval to Damus, a purported "Twitter killer" that is constructed on a decentralized network and powered by Nostr. On January 31, the Damus team announced the approval to its 11,500 Twitter followers. Soon after, Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter and a contributor to Nostr, informed his 6.5 million followers of the development, calling it a "milestone" moment for open-source protocols.
